Opportunities are plenty in the fields of  farm tourism, health tourism, ecotourism, adventure tourism, etc. Ayurvedic treatment and massiging have emerged as a part and parcel of health tourism. The allied courses of hospitality management like catering and food technology courses also offer much job possibilities.

There are graduate –level, Post-graduate level, diploma and certificate courses.

Eligibility

For under gtaduate level-higher secondary examination pass.

For  Post graduate level Master of Tourism Administration (MTA)- A graduate in any discipline, and should pass the entrance test, group discussion and interview conducted by the institute. Proficiency in at least one foreign language is preferred. Duration: Two years full time programme approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India

Diploma and Certificate Courses-For the diploma courses one needs to be a Graduate from a recognized University. Certificate courses For certificate courses one need a +2 pass

Several large travel agencies also offer short-term training programmes, and tend to absorb most of the candidates
