Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CHPL)
The CHPL allows the holder to act as Pilot or co-pilot of any licensed helicopter. To qualify for CHPL, an applicant must be 18 years of age and possess a medical fitness certificate . He should pass the written examination in air regulation, air navigation , aviation meteorology, aircraft and engines and signals (practical). He should have completed 100 hours of flight time as pilot of a helicopter including specified hours of solo flying, cross country flying, instrument flying and night flying
